Believe it or not, Press Previews is just a couple of months away! Before we head into the holiday season, we want to make sure you’re well prepared so that everything is locked and loaded. Outside of the standard packing list, here are three important things to think about as you prep for this exciting press event:
While our intimate environment allows you to engage with nearly every member of the media who walks through the door, an enticing table display is imperative. Whether it’s an interactive activity, a tasty treat, or an eye-catching visual, finding a way to connect media attendees with your brand in a meaningful way will make its mark. No matter what you decide, be sure to have a take-a-way in the form of a product, an exclusive discount code, or a press kit to ensure your brand is top of mind long after the media event.
Laptops and/or tablets are a necessity when attending new product events like Press Previews. They’re key for providing product information or showcasing a custom landing page that will help your digital display pop. Make sure you aren’t left in the dark by leaving your chargers at home or by forgetting to charge them the night before the big day!
You can have the most engaging display in the room and a day full of valuable conversations, but all is for naught without a way for media to reach you following the press event. Of course, we’ll have your back if you miss some connections, but much of this can be avoided by arriving stocked with business cards. Don’t forget to grab a card from everyone you meet at this media event as well! Press Previews is a wonderful way to ignite new relationships and foster existing ones, but to encourage the results you seek it’s all about follow up, follow up, follow up!
