As you know here at Press Previews we’re always trying to find ways to make the event top-notch for our exhibitors. This year we’re so excited to announce that have secured two amazing women from Good Housekeeping as our media partners for our Press Previews Holiday Gift Guide Event next week! Good Housekeeping reaches an audience of 30+ million each month and targets contemporary female homemakers. In addition to the magazine, the Good Housekeeping Institute is the consumer product evaluation laboratory, which opened in 1900 and continues today with the same mission: to improve the lives of consumers and their families through education and product evaluation.

Here’s a little inside scoop on our media partners Sharon Franke and Rachel Rothman:

Sharon Franke, Director of the Kitchen Appliances and Technology Lab

Having been with Good Housekeeping since 1987, Sharon is an expert in all things kitchen. She originally joined Good Housekeeping as an assistant, primarily developing recipes for the magazine’s column on microwave cooking. Sharon now tests every piece of cooking equipment that could possibly find its way into a kitchen, sharing her tips in Good Housekeeping.

Rachel Rothman, Chief Technologist

Rachel joined Good Housekeeping in 2008, overseeing consumer product testing methodology, implementation, and reporting for the six labs at the Institute. She also manages the Good Housekeeping Seal and Green Good Housekeeping Seal. Rachel reports on all consumer tech, home improvement, auto and toy coverage in Good Housekeeping magazine and various brand extensions.

We’re so excited to be working with these ladies and can’t believe that our big event is less than a week away! Will we see you there?
