Though it’s been a couple of weeks since our Spring Into Summer event, we’re still basking in the glow of its success. Put 16 brands, over 50 top national media, one media partner, and one sponsor in a room and you’ve got a day full of engaging conversations that ignited countless press opportunities.
Aside from sizzling synergies, here were a few more highlights from the day:
1. Treasure trove of insights
The day kicked off with a brand huddle with our founder, Karyn Martin, media partner Alex Di Trolio, long time producer at Sirius XM, and sponsor Bryan Sanders, VP of sales for influencer marketing database Julius. Alex was clutch in providing a behind the scenes media perspective, and Bryn dropped some interesting stats on engaging with influencers, both of which got our group of exhibitors ready and raring for the day.
2. Tasty treats
We were #blessed to have a bevy of food and beverage brands join us this year, which meant delicious and innovative recipes galore. Between margherita flatbreads topped with fresh herbs from Shenandoah Growers, healthy and tasty smoothies from Welch’s and POM Wonderful, bruschetta made with Wonderful Halos (yes, you heard that right), and delicious recipes made with Hamilton Beach and Wolf Gourmet’s latest home appliances, no one left with an empty stomach.
3. Style hacks
We were also pleased as punch to host a number of beauty and lifestyle brands who came equipped with little known beauty and style hacks perfect for the spring and summer seasons. Haircare lines Truss Professional, Tek, and Elchim, brought along a stylist from the uber-chic Oscar Blandi salon, who gave free blowouts (and pro tips) to all attendees. CHI (yes, as in the straightener) featured a self-steaming garment bag, and OOFOS showcased their line of footwear to help athletes and fitness buffs recover in style.
4. Great gifts
It wouldn’t be a media event without some fantastic gifting options. Between Yankee Candle’s new spring and summer fragrances and novelty collections, Sylvania’s suite of lighting systems (shown off in a separate media suite), crazy fun pool toys from BigMouth, and Lever Gear‘s 40-tools-in-1 gadget, media were treated to tons of gifting ideas for moms, dads, grads, bachelor and bachelorette parties and beyond.
5. Media, media, media!
We had just over 50 media in attendance, and every single one was of the utmost quality, spending quality time engaging at nearly every table. We’re currently surveying our attending media to make sure our holiday event in June is even better than the last, so stay tuned for the results!
